DNC ads to launch in 14 states.

The national debate over health care reform is bringing more advertising dollars to radio.  A new Democratic National Committee campaign set to launch Tuesday on radio stations in 14 states lambastes 32 House Republicans for voting against the Democratic-sponsored health care overhaul plan.

The spots, which target Republicans in congressional districts that voted for Barack Obama in the 2008 presidential election, will run in California, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.  With eight House Republicans on the DNC target list, California stations are expected to get the most ads.

The spots ask listeners to call their congressional representatives and tell them, “It’s time to stand up for reform, not insurance companies.” The National Republican Congressional Committee is mounting a similar campaign targeting Democratic reps that voted for the House bill.
