Yankees flagship signs Spanish deal.
CBS Radio’s all-news WCBS,
Univision regional Mexican “La Qué Buena” WQBU (92.7) had previously carried the Yankees. The Spanish-language broadcasts are produced by CBS, which also keeps some of the advertising inventory. WADO will also provide the Spanish language Secondary Audio Program (SAP) feed for Yankees broadcasts on cable TV’s YES Network.
WCBS was the third-highest billing station last year with $43.6 million in revenue according to BIA/Kelsey, in a large part due to Yankees ad sales. The World Series champs’ season begins Sunday, April 4 in
