P1 Selling creates scholarship.

The online broadcast sales training company creates a student scholarship program to attract new blood to radio.  The program begins in October in conjunction with the Illinois, Kansas, Mississippi, and Missouri state broadcast associations.  Winners will get one year of free access to all broadcast training programs.

P1 Selling partner Speed Marriott says, “This is an important opportunity to work with future broadcast students. Not only do we get to help shape the future broadcaster, but we get to learn the tendencies from a new generation."  Training topics will include: selling skills, negotiation, promotions, programming, interactive marketing, leadership, and several others.

The first scholarships will be presented at the Illinois Broadcast Association’s Student Silver Dome Awards ceremony on October 2 at the Bone Student Center at Illinois State University.
