Neil Sperry
CBS Radio's KRLD, Dallas (1080) has put weekend gardening show host Neil Sperry on notice that it will cancel his "Texas Gardening" show in June. The show has been heard throughout Texas for 30-years. Sperry says KRLD told him it was "strictly a bottom-line business decision."
Country Chuck
Beasley's "102.7 The Coyote" KCYE, Las Vegas hires market legend Country Chuck for Sunday morning duties where he'll continue to air his popular "Country Legends" show. He most recently was heard on Clear Channel country outlet KWNR (95.5). Country Chuck has been on Las Vegas airwaves since 1975 when he joined KORK (920).
Katz Chicago
Katz Radio Group promotes four in its Chicago office. It names Ted Rosen VP/manager and Kristina Presern as VP of sales for Katz Radio. In the Eastman Radio division it promotes Chris Shellgren to VP/manager and Sam Vangelovski to senior account executive.
Leslie Marshall
Progressive talk host Leslie Marshall picks up affiliates in Seattle (KPTK), Santa Barbara (KIST) and San Luis Obispo (KYNS).
Doug McIntyre
Citadel's WABC, New York and KABC, Los Angeles launch an overnight syndication show called "Red Eye Radio" hosted by Doug McIntyre. He hosted overnights on KABC until last fall when he began airing an early-morning news block (5-6am) on WABC.
Tommy Jordan, Chris Collins
Nassau Broadcasting parts ways with hot AC WPST-FM, Trenton, NJ morning host Tommy Jordan. He'd been at the station for more than 15-years. APD Chris Collins will host the morning show solo.
Marty Lurie
KTRB's Oakland Athletics broadcaster Marty Lurie jumps across the Bay to become host of the pre- and post-game shows for the San Francisco Giants on KNBR, San Francisco.
John Riggins
Bonneville all-news WTOP, Washington (103.5) signs NFL Hall of Famer John Riggins to a multi-year contract to continue as color analyst and pre- and post-game host for the Washington Redskins NFL coverage and to host afternoon drive on WTOP's HD3 channel. He'll also host occasional specials on the main signal throughout the year.
Len Pace
News/jazz WLRN-FM, Miami (91.3) will exit the station as the public radio outlet begins using automated jazz programming during his nighttime timeslot in a cost-cutting move reports the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
Jay Noble
The "Moby in the Morning" Radio Network director of sales and affiliate relations Jay Noble adds programming duties, filling the vacancy left by the death of Dene Hallam last November. The network also promotes middayer Sandy Weaver to music director and signs Ken Moultrie for consulting duties.
Bobby Ramos
Spanish CHR "95.1 Latino Vibe" KVIB, Phoenix VP of programming Bobby Ramos adds programming duties at rhythmic CHR "Power 98.3" KKFR, replacing PD/midday host Karlie Hustle, who exits. Riviera Broadcast Group, which owns KKFR and modern rock "X-103.9" KEXX has signed a local marketing agreement to also operate Sun City Communication's KVIB.
Mike O'Donnell
Entercom names Mike O'Donnell to director of operations for its Wilkes Barre stations. He remains PD of CHR WKRZ and adult alternative "The Mountain" WDMT.
Chris Pantier, Beau Duran
Sierra H. Broadcasting has parted ways with PD Beau Duran after being with the cluster the past 2 ˝ years. Chris "Marino" Pantier will now assume programming duties for Phoenix's rhythmic oldies "Mega 104.3" KAJM and urban oldies "The Beat" KNRJ.
Lukas
Rhythmic AC "Movin 97.5" KMVA, Phoenix morning host Lukas exits.Tina Ciancio Citadel hot AC WPLJ and talk WABC, New York promotes Tina Ciancio to national sales manager. She's been NSM for WPLJ and adds WABC duties.
PJ Lewis
Smooth jazz "The L" WLFM-LP, Chicago (87.7) names PJ Lewis as its new national sales manager. The station also announces it's tapped McGavren Guild as its new national rep firm.
John Capuano
Entercom New England promotes John Capuano to director of AM sales covering sports WEEI, talk WRO and the Red Sox Baseball Network. Capuano has been with Entercom for five years, most recently as GSM for WRKO. He previously worked for CBS Radio in Hartford, CT and Buckley Radio in New York.
Todd Larsen
Bonneville's KSL Broadcast Group promotes Paulette Cary to GSM for its Salt Lake City cluster. Classic hits "Arrow 103.5" KRSP GSM Todd Larsen is promoted to local sales manager for the cluster.
Paige Soltano
Katz Media Group hires Paige Soltano as director of recruitment and human resources. Soltano joins Katz with nearly 25 years of human resources experience, primarily in the advertising industry. Most recently, she served as an independent human resources consultant for several companies
Doug Stovall
Hipcricket hires mobile marketing vet Doug Stovall as SVP of sales. Hipcricket says it recently passed the 50,000 campaign mark by doubling the number of campaigns in one year.
Jon Miller
Longtime Major League Baseball play by play announcer Jon Miller is the 2010 recipient of the Ford C. Frick Award from the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. Miller has called games for the Giants, Baltimore, Boston, Texas and Oakland, and has been the voice of ESPN's "Sunday Night Baseball" television broadcasts for 20 years. He'll be honored during the Hall of Fame ceremony in July.

Riviera Broadcast Group Phoenix director of marketing and promotions Mike O'Donnell exits the cluster in a cost-cutting move.
Ron Heineman
Deput Broadcasting names Ron Heineman to chairman/CEO, succeeding CEO Steven Ludwig, who exits, and chairman Robert Marquitz, who remains COO of Debut. The company owns stations in Mississippi and the Impact Radio Network.
Mark Remington
Clear Channel promotes rock "Project 96.1" WKLS, Atlanta general sales manager Mark Remington to market manager for its three station cluster in Colorado Springs. It's a return to Colorado for Remington, who formerly oversaw Clear Channel's Denver stations.
Dave Fogel
Citadel's "True Oldies" WLS-FM, Chicago (94.7) taps Dave Fogel for morning drive starting March 1, replacing Brant Miller who exited last month. Fogel hosted afternoons on Bonneville hot AC WTMX (101.9) from 1997 to 2004.
Michael Smerconish
Dial Global talk personality Michael Smerconish marks his first year in national syndication with more than 50 affiliates nationwide. He's based at CBS Radio's "The Big Talker 1210" WPHT, Philadelphia.
Diane Pryor
Clear Channel parts ways with longtime rhythmic CHR WKTU, New York (103.5) midday personality Diane Pryor. She'd been in the timeslot for 14-years. Before that she worked at CHR sister "Z-100" WHTZ.
Lenny Green
Emmis urban AC "98.7 Kiss FM" WRKS, New York brings Lenny Green to evenings as host of the "Kissing After Dark" show. It's a return to WRKS for Green who worked at the station in the 1980s.
Scott Pritchett
Clear Channel has named Scott Pritchett as market manager for the for the company’s six-station group in Columbia, South Carolina. Pritchett most recently held the position of market manager for the Clear Channel Melbourne, FL cluster. Before serving as the Melbourne manager, Pritchett was director of sales for the company’s Jacksonville stations, and sales manager for its stations in Miami and Louisville.
Donny Osmond
Citadel Media’s syndicated Donny Osmond show will clear in his hometown of Salt Lake City where AC "B-98.7" KBEE slots Osmond for afternoon drive. The Citadel-owned station had been airing Premiere’s Ryan Seacrest but will instead delay Osmond’s midday show for the 4-7pm timeslot.
Bob Cohen
Former Clear Channel International Radio president Bob Cohen has formed his own consultancy to help media firms with organizational turnarounds, brand development and structuring deals. Cohen had been overseeing Clear Channel’s 240 off-shore radio stations since 2001.
Pam Stone
Greater Media's AC/talk "107.9 The Link" WLNK-FM, Charlotte drops Pam Stone's Saturday show reports the Charlotte Observer.
Michael Savage
Talk Radio Networks personality Michael Savage jumps to Pamplin Broadcasting's talk KPAM, Portland (860) for afternoon drive after Alpha Broadcasting's "News Radio 750" KXL pushed back the show to evenings in tape-delay. It's the latest in personality shuffles between the two stations. KPAM recently lost Sean Hannity and Mark Levin to KXL.
Calvin Murphy
Cumulus sports "97.5 The Fan" KFNC, Houston drops Calvin Murphy from afternoon drive, although the Houston Chronicle reports he remains with the station in an unspecified role. Program director Dave Tepper and Julie Takahashi remain in afternoon drive.
Ken Pauli
James Crystral Radio's news/talk "Live 85" WFTL, Ft. Lauderdale director of news and operations Ken Pauli exits.
Robert Mangino
CBS Radio's "Newsradio 1020" KDKA, Pittsburgh names Robert Mangino as its new weeknight talk host, succeeding Mike Pintek who has moved to middays. Mangino arrives from Clear Channel's "Newsradio 570" WKBN, Youngstown, OH where he was morning host since 1996.
Tom Brookshier
Former Philadelphia Eagles defensive back-turned-radio broadcaster Tom Brookshier died January 29. He was 78. After leaving the NFL, Brookshier worked in Philadelphia at WCAU-TV and CBS Radio's "Sports Radio 610" WIP.
Joe Burge
Louisiana broadcasters are remembering Joe Burge, known to listeners as "Dr. Feel Good," died January 30 of a heart attack reports the Daily World newspaper. He was 54. Burge hosted a Lafayette television show and on KBON (101.1) that featured a mix of Cajun and zydeco music.
