Michaels receives $675,00 settlement from Tribune.
After resigning under pressure following an unflattering New York Times expose, former Tribune CEO Randy Michaels demanded that he receive $900,000, the pro-rated piece of his 2010 management bonus. Michaels argued he was “terminated without cause.” Tribune disagreed but settled anyway to avoid lengthy litigation, according to the Chicago Tribune.
