CBS huddles properties at Super Bowl.

Timing for next month’s launch of the CBS Sports Radio network couldn’t get better.  As luck would have it CBS-TV has the rights to Super Bowl XLVII and the company is planning to leverage that relationship for the new radio network.

CBS Sports Radio will report all Super Bowl week from Jackson Square in New Orleans where the “CBS Super Bowl Park” is being created.  Besides radio, eight other CBS divisions will broadcast from the site in the heart of the French Quarter.  “Creating CBS Super Bowl Park at Jackson Square as the center of all this activity will make it even more compelling, and also illustrate the collaborative efforts across the company,” CEO Les Moonves says.  Super Bowl Sunday is February 3rd.
