Salem Media Group is searching for an exceptional individual to join us as a General Manager of our 5 station cluster in the highly attractive, mid-sized market of Greenville, SC.

Job Duties:

Responsible for directing the day-to-day and long-range success of a radio station cluster in a high-growth market. Responsibilities include hands-on direction of the development of local and national revenue on broadcast and digital platforms; marketing the stations to the local community; and relationship building with community leaders.

The position oversees all aspects of station operations: sales, marketing/promotions, programming/operations, technical/engineering and administration/human resources.

Qualified candidates must have demonstrated the ability to exceed financial/budgetary goals; hire, train and motivate sales talent; and protect/enhance the value of the station's FCC license.

For consideration, candidates will have a record of accomplishment of at least five years of successful radio station and sales management in a comparable market.

Knowledge and skills in developing local direct conceptual spot and digital revenue is essential. Career stability, business acumen and the ability to recruit, train and grow sales talent is critical.
