Tulsa – Educational Media Foundation has filed a $2,415,000 deal to buy religious KDIM (88.1) from David Ingles Ministries. The signal will allow EMF to give its contemporary Christian “K-Love” network a full power signal in the market. It currently owns the Tulsa, OK-licensed translator K240ED at 95.9 FM.

Alaska – WorthRome has filed an $180,000 deal to buy CHR “K-Hitz” KVHZ, Wasilla, AK (1430) from Alaska Multimedia. The deal also includes the Willow Creek, AK-licensed translator K296FP at 107.1 FM. WorthRome has operated the station since April under a local marketing agreement.

Illinois – Good News Radio files a $140,000 deal to buy religious WGNX, Colchester, IL (96.7) from Patricia Van Zandt. The deal includes a $125,000 promissory note.

Elmira-Corning, NY – Montrose Broadcasting has filed a $50,000 deal to buy religious WPGO (820) from Family Life Ministries Radio. The sale is the final move by Family Life which did a multimarket swap with Seven Mountains Media earlier this year. WPGO is the first for Montrose Broadcasting in the Elmira-Corning market although it owns five other religious stations along the New York-Pennsylvania border.

Houston-- Aleluya Broadcasting Network files to swap tropical “La Calle” KJOZ (880) to Centro Cristiano de Vida Eterna as part of a three-company exchange. In exchange for the AM, Aleluya will get the Houston-licensed K201IY at 88.1 FM. And DAIJ Media will get the Roma, TX-licensed K243BO at 96.5 FM; and the Angelton, TX-licensed K254DU at 98.7 FM. No cash will change hands as part of the deal. Both Aleluya and DAIJ are controlled by Ruben Villarreal.


Oklahoma City – Casey Vinyard has closed a $157,000 deal to buy “Sports Radio 1400” KREF from Debra Laffoon’s Metro Radio Group. The deal also includes the Norman, OK-licensed translator K257DA at 99.3 FM.

Oklahoma – William Wachter’s One Media has closed a $10,000 deal to buy classic hits KBZI, Mooreland, OK (106.1) from Robert Young. Wachter also owns “Classic Hits 105.7” KRDR, Alva, OK which is simulcasting on KBZI.

Pensacola, FL – Mary Hoxeng has closed a deal to buy “Cat Country 98.7” WYCT from ADX Communications. The deal also includes the Pensacola, FL-licensed translator W233CM at 94.5 FM. The deal does not include a cash payment, but rather Hoxeng will transfer three Pensacola residential properties to ADX Communications.
