Santa Rosa, CA – Northern California Public Media has filed a $1.5 million deal to buy classic hits “104.9 K-Hits” KDHT from Amaturo Sonoma Media Group. Northern California Public Media will relay news-talk/variety KRCB-FM (91.1) on the signal. The public broadcaster lost its transmitter and tower two years ago in the devastating Kincade Fire in northern Sonoma County and has been operating at low power while searching for an improved FM facility. Once the sale closes, Amaturo Sonoma Media Group will still own four stations in the market including classic rock “97.7 The River” KVRV, CHR “Hot 101.7” KHTH, country “Froggy 92.9” KFGY, and “News Talk 1350” KSRO.

Maryland – Roberto Cortes-Campos’ Renovacion Media Group has filed a $700,000 deal to buy Spanish talk “Radio America 1540” WACA from Alejandro Carrasco’s AC Acquisitions. The deal includes a $500,000 promissory note. Renovacion Media Group has been operating WACA under a local marketing agreement since January 2019. Once the sale closes, AC Acquisitions will still own Spanish “Radio America 900” WCLM in the Washington, DC market.

Ohio – Soaring Eagle Promotions has filed a $50,000 deal to buy religious “Family Ministry Radio” WJEE, Bolivar, OH (90.1) from Hazen Ministries. Soaring Eagle Promotions already owns three full-power FMS and several translators in Ohio that carry its contemporary Christian “Shine FM” format.


Pittsburgh – St. Barnabas Broadcasting has closed a $2.05 million deal to buy “Talk Radio 1320” WJAS from Iorio Broadcasting. The deal also includes the Pittsburgh, PA-licensed translator W256DE at 99.1 FM. St. Barnabas Broadcasting is a newcomer to broadcasting. It is tied to the St. Barnabas Health System, which owns retirement homes in the Pittsburgh region. Frank Iorio will retire from the industry after a 50-year career that began in Pittsburgh in 1971.

Fort Myers-Naples, FL – The Association des Haitiens Vivant a L’Etranger pour Le Develop has closed a $500,000 deal to buy Spanish religious WBIY, La Belle, FL (88.3) from Oscar Aguero Ministry. The deal also includes the Naples, FL-licensed translator W263BY at 100.5 FM. Oscar Aguero Ministry still owns a low-power TV station in the Miami market.
