Fort Wayne, IN – Sarkes Tarzian closes a $515,000 deal to buy regional Mexican “La Unica 102.3” WGBJ from Three Amigo’s Broadcasting. Sarkes Tarzian already owns AC “Majic 95.1” WAJI and classic hits “Fun 101.7” WLDE in the Fort Wayne market. Broker: Beth Griffin

Daytona Beach, FL – Clarence and Andrea Williams’ Praise Media Group close a $235,000 deal to buy religious WYND (1310) from the Buddy Tucker Association. The deal includes the Deland, FL-licensed translator W241CZ at 96.1 FM. The Buddy Tucker Association still owns two AMs in the Mobile, AL market. Broker: Jorgenson Broadcast Brokerage

Springfield, MO – Cumulus Media closes a deal to sell its standalone FM in the Springfield, MO market to VCY America. It will pay $100,000 to buy the currently-silent KRWP (107.7). Wisconsin-based religious broadcaster VCY America currently owns more than two dozen full power radio stations, as well as 15 FM translators including KVCY (104.7) in nearby Ft Scott, KS. It will convert KRWP into a noncommercial station. Cumulus bought KRWP for $825,000 in 2004 from the Gilbert family but it failed to add any additional stations in market No. 135. It took the station silent in March. Cumulus will still own a six-station cluster in the Columbia-Jefferson City, MO market. Broker: Eddie Esserman, Media Services Group
