Beasley Media Group taps the talents of top country music stars for its “Superstar Mini Concert Series,” which will air on the company’s seven country radio stations twice a day on Tuesdays and Fridays. Big Machine recording artists Lady Antebellum will kick off the series Tuesday, April 21 at 4pm (local time). An encore of the day’s performance will be replayed at 8pm that night.
“At a time like this, we all could use some fun live music and we’re arranging for dozens of country music’s biggest stars to perform for our listeners over the next several weeks,” Chief Content Officer Justin Chase said in a release. “It will be a truly amazing series. I’d like to thank our label partners and the artists themselves, many of which are also at home practicing social distancing, for agreeing to entertain our country radio audiences.”
Following Lady A, Dustin Lynch is scheduled for the Friday, April 24 mini concert series. Additional artists include Tim McGraw, Kane Brown, Brett Young, Lee Brice, Chris Janson, Justin Moore, Brad Paisely, Luke Combs, Brantley Gilbert, Eli Young Band, Carly Pearce, Chase Rice, Lindsay Ell, Jimmie Allen, Chris Lane, Russell Dickerson, Morgan Wallen, Scotty McCreery, Dylan Scott, Chris Young and Riley Green. Select listeners will also have the opportunity to participate in special private virtual “Meet & Greet” experiences with their favorite artists.
“I am excited that we will bring some of the very best talent in our format to our audiences across the country,” Country Brand Manager and WKLB-FM Boston Program Director David Corey added. “They will not only hear great music, but also get to hear about what the artists have been doing over the last month as we try and get through this most challenging time.”
In addition to WKLB-FM, Beasley country outlets include WXTU Philadelphia, WQYK-FM Tampa, WSOC-FM Charlotte, KCYE Las Vegas, WKXC-FM Augusta and WKML Fayetteville.
