KAMP

Chris Booker moves from afternoons to mornings at Entercom CHR “97.1 Amp Radio” KAMP-FM Los Angeles. Booker is joined by current morning co-host Chelsea Briggs, along with weekend talent Krystal Bee to form the new drivetime show.

Booker has been with “97.1 Amp Radio” since its launch in 2009. The veteran air talent was previously heard on the former “Blink 102.7” WNEW-FM and “92.3 K-Rock” WXRK New York and iHeartMedia CHR “Q102” WIOQ Philadelphia. Bee joined KAMP-FM as a weekend talent in October 2018. She was previously heard in mornings and middays at crosstown “Power 106” KPWR under Emmis ownership.

Booker’s move to mornings follows the dissolution of the show created to replace Carson Daly, after the multimedia star stepped down at the end of 2017. Edgar ‘Shoboy’ Sotelo, who was paired with Brian Moote and Briggs in February 2018, exits. Moote left the station in August.

Replacing Booker in afternoons is current midday talent and MD Yesi Ortiz. Weekend talent Christen slides into middays.
