Chris Stigall returns to KCMO Kansas City (710), where he will be heard weekdays from 10am-12pm. Stigall hosted mornings at the Cumulus Media talker from 2006-2010.
“The Chris Stigall Show” will continue in mornings on Salem Media Group talk “AM 990 The Answer” WNTP Philadelphia, where he has been heard since November 2019 after hosting mornings for nine years at crosstown Entercom “Talk Radio 1210” WPHT.
“Any time there is an opportunity to welcome back to Kansas City a known commodity like Chris Stigall, it’s a home run for the community,” Program Director and morning show host Pet Mundo said in a release. “A big thanks to RVP Donna Baker and VP of News/Talk Bill Hess for supporting the move and giving KCMO Talk Radio expanded live and local content and conversations unique to Kansas City.”
Baker added, “Pete Mundo has established KCMO Mornings as the trusted local talk radio destination for daily issues that affect our Kansas City community. His idea to welcome Chris Stigall back to continue the local dialogue with KCMO listeners from 10am to noon is a brilliant addition to this iconic station.”
Stigall remarked, “You can move away from Kansas City, but anyone who’s born and raised here knows Kansas City is always in your heart. Most of my family and closest friends still call it home. It’s been a while, but like any good friend, the audience of ‘KCMO Talk Radio’ and I go way back and we’ll pick up right where we left off.”
Stigall’s addition to the KCMO on-air lineup has the station now carrying the final hour of “The Chris Plante Show” from 12-1pm, which is based at news/talk sister WMAL-FM Washington (105.9). KCMO previously carried the full three-hour Plante show.
