Retire Sooner

Syndicated radio host Clark Howard is expanding his portfolio of on-demand content, but this time he will not be in front of the microphone. Howard is partnering with financial radio host and best-selling author Wes Moss to create a new series called Retire Sooner that will be produced and distributed by Clark’s company.

Moss has been an investment advisor for more than two decades and he has been hosting the “Money Matters” show on Cox Media Group’s news-talk WSB Atlanta (750, 95.5) for the past 12-years.

“The financial space is very crowded with personalities claiming to offer objective advice. I’ve known Wes Moss for well over a decade, and I’ve come to rely on him as a trusted, even-handed resource for my audience,” said Howard. “This new podcast will provide a straight-forward look at what it takes to retire in America today.”

Retire Sooner will feature Moss sharing lifestyle and money habits that listeners can embrace to prepare for a secure future. Differentiating it from other financial shows is Moss’ focus on happiness, both today and in retirement. He will also feature guests to teach listeners how to set and work toward financial and lifestyle objectives. The team plans to publish new episodes on a biweekly basis.

“I’m extremely excited to work with the Clark Howard team and to serve the audience with high-quality financial advice and lifestyle-related content that meets with Clark’s impeccable standards,” said Moss in the announcement. In addition to hosting the radio show, Moss is an owner and managing partner of Capital Investment Advisors, a $2.8 billion investment advisory firm. “I’ve learned a tremendous amount from Clark Howard over the years,” said Moss. “I continue to be impressed and influenced by his impact on the smart spending and personal finances of people throughout the country.”

Christa DiBiase, COO of Clark Howard Inc., says Retire Sooner will be a complement to the content that Clark offers listeners. In addition to the WSB Atlanta-based syndicated radio show, Howard also produces the daily Clark Howard Podcast.
