Daniel Baldwin, the actor turned radio host, quietly exited Galaxy Communications “ESPN Syracuse” WTLA (1200) in April. The station has debuted two new programs in the daypart Baldwin was most recently occupying.

“The Seth Everett Show” featuring Seth Everett and Paulie Scibilia, is now in the lineup from 10-11am, while “Centers of Attention” with former Syracuse basketball players Etan Thomas and Danny Schayes airs from 11am-12pm. Baldwin came to the station in November 2017 for a one-hour afternoon program.

The two new shows join other local programs in the lineup, including “Orange Nation” with Steve Infanti and Seth Goldberg (12-2pm), “In the Booth,” with Matt Park and Brian Higgins (2-3pm, and “On the Block,” with Brent Axe (4-6pm).

Galaxy owner Ed Levine tells Syracuse.com that a new program will be added to Baldwin’s original timeslot, 3-4pm. “We will be doing something that to the best of my knowledge has never been done,” he said.

Baldwin, meanwhile, lost 58 pounds as he trained to run with the bulls in Pamplona. A documentary was filmed about his journey called “My Promise to PJ.” PJ was a friend who died from an overdose. Baldwin promised PJ that if he got sober the two would take part in the Running of the Bulls. Baldwin completed the journey in July while carrying the ashes of his friend. He also plans to open a drug rehabilitation program in upstate New York with help from his famous actor brothers. “We’re planning on opening something in the name of the Baldwin family somewhere here in Oswego or Onondaga county,” he told Syracuse.com.

“ESPN Syracuse” also airs on the Mattydale, NY-licensed translator W249BC at 97.7.
