Past members of the Denver Broncos offense and defense teams will reunite in afternoons on Bonneville “Sports Radio 104.5 The Fan” KKFN Denver. Tyler Polumbus, a former NFL offensive tackle who won a Super Bowl with the Broncos, has signed a multi-year agreement with “The Fan,” where he will be paired with Darren “DMac” McKee and former Broncos safety Nick Ferguson on “The Drive,” weekdays 3-7pm.

“We viewed this as a unique opportunity to evolve ‘The Drive’ and present something that hasn’t been done before,” Program Director Raj Sharan said in a release. “Tyler’s perspective from playing offensive line is totally different from Nick’s on defense. Those differing viewpoints, facilitated by DMac’s 30 years of experience, will lead to fascinating conversations, analysis and fun.”

Polumbus returns to KKFN, where he got his broadcasting start in 2016. He most recently was a sideline announcer for Broncos game day broadcasts on iHeartMedia news/talk KOA (850) and was part of the morning lineup at the former Broncos-centric “Orange & Blue 760” KDSP, which flipped to “Freedom 93.7” KDFD in July. It airs on the 760 frequency and the Lakewood, CO-licensed translator K229BS at 93.7.

“I’m ecstatic to come home to the place my radio career started and am honored to be joining Denver’s most iconic sports talk radio show,” Polumbus added. “Nick and DMac are phenomenal at what they do, and together we’ll look to entertain and educate the listeners with our raw and authentic opinions. I can’t wait to get started.”

Ferguson joined the station in April, originally hosting “The Safety Blitz with Nick Ferguson” (9am-12pm). Ferguson’s radio experience includes positions with “NFL on TuneIn,” NBC Sports Radio, the former “790 The Zone” Atlanta and former “980 The Beast” KFWB Los Angeles.

Polumbus and Ferguson replace Tom Nalen, who is relocating for personal reasons. McKee has anchored “The Drive” for nearly a decade with a number of different partners.
