iHeartMedia Tampa Bay will be the local radio partner for Super Bowl LV, scheduled for February 2021 at Raymond James Stadium, under an agreement with the Tampa Bay Super Bowl LV Host Committee.
As part of the broadcast agreement, the cluster of stations will work with the Super Bowl LV Host Committee to support and promote Super Bowl initiatives and activations, including events and fan experiences as well as distribute news and information across the company’s nine radio brands, digital platforms and social media channels.
The cluster also will be integrated into multiple events and experiences in the Tampa Bay area leading up to Super Bowl LV with “Sports Radio 95.3” WDAE (820), which is simulcast on the Pinellas Park-licensed translator W237CW, set to broadcast live on-site within the Super Bowl Experience footprint during game week.
“It is an honor to work with the Tampa Bay Super Bowl LV Host Committee as their exclusive local radio partner for what is poised to be an amazing series of events and a phenomenal spotlight on Tampa Bay across the globe,” iHeartMedia Tampa Bay President Chris Soechtig said in a release.
“Super Bowl LV gives Tampa Bay the unique opportunity to shine on the biggest stage in sports and iHeartMedia Tampa Bay will help us showcase what the Tampa Bay region has to offer,” Rob Higgins, President/Chief Operating Officer, Tampa Bay Super Bowl LV Host Committee added. “This is the next exciting chapter of a tremendous and longstanding partnership, where we will work in collaboration with one another on the journey to what will be the most important Super Bowl of our lifetime.”
