Lorna Hagen has joined iHeartMedia as its first-ever Chief People Officer. In the role, she will oversee all human resources functions, including talent acquisition and training, compensation and benefits, diversity and inclusion, company culture initiatives, and operating groups’ HR business partners. She will report to Chairman & CEO Bob Pittman and Rich Bressler, President, COO and CFO, who jointly made the announcement.
In addition, Jeanne Cardoso joins as VP of Total Rewards, overseeing the company’s compensation and benefits planning and administration. She brings extensive Total Rewards experience across a variety of industries, including media, information technology, financial services, consumer goods and health sciences, the company says.
Hagen “has a proven track record of facilitating innovative and diverse people solutions and experiences,” Pittman said in his company announcement, with more than two decades in HR and data-driven HR strategy. She previously served as Chief People Officer at HR technology solution company Namely; and before that was the first Chief People Officer at OnDeck, an online lending platform for small businesses. She has also held leadership roles at Ann Taylor LOFT, Dow Jones and HarperCollins.
Reporting to Hagen will be Cardoso; HR Operations, led by Ronny Donovan; Talent Acquisition, led by Karen Sadler; and HR Partnership, led by Kamal Patel.
