As the agenda for the 2019 Radio Show continues to take shape, it’s becoming more obvious that this year’s model aims to challenge the status quo. The latest announcement is that Fred and Paul Jacobs will lead a session titled “You’re Not in the Radio Business Anymore: Stories from Innovators Who’ve Made the Transition.” Media pros from inside and outside the radio industry will share their stories and journeys of transformation. The session is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 26.
“We are excited to present an all-important session on the strategies that best serve broadcasters as we position our industry to succeed in 2019 and beyond,” RAB President/CEO Erica Farber said in a release. “Fred and Paul Jacobs will offer actionable insights on propelling the radio business forward in today’s changing media landscape.”
The “reimagined” 2019 Radio Show, presented by the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) and the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB), promises attendees “a revitalized lineup, profitable strategies, valuable insights, refocused events, engaging exhibits and a relaxed vibe,” according to the Radio Show website, as earlier reported by Inside Radio.
