Key Networks said Tuesday it will offer “The O’Reilly Update – Morning Edition,” a two-minute morning drive feature and companion to its popular 15-minute daily radio program, “The O’Reilly Update.” Hosted by bestselling author and former Fox News Channel personality Bill O’Reilly, the new morning drive companion piece builds on listener response to “The O’Reilly Update,” which launched in April and is now heard on 180 stations.
“The O’Reilly Update - Morning Edition” will be available to air Monday- Friday, 6-10am, beginning in January 2020, offering O’Reilly’s take on what’s making news. “It is becoming increasingly difficult for Americans to secure facts and arrive at the truth about important matters,” O’Reilly said in a news release. “The expansion of ‘The O’Reilly Update’ to the morning will give listeners some reality to start their day.”
Dennis Green, Chief Revenue Officer, Key Networks, said the syndicator heard from stations asking to make the conservative commentator available in morning drive. The feature includes two minutes of content, with two embedded 30-second network spots.
