With Keyshawn Johnson slotted as the lead for the new national ESPN Radio morning show, his former home base, Disney-owned “ESPN 710” KSPN Los Angeles, unveils a new on-air lineup, effective Aug. 17.
“ESPN 710” will carry the new “Keyshawn, Jay and Zubin” morning show, starring Johnson, along with basketball analyst Jay Williams, a former NBA player; and “SportsCenter” host Zubin Mehenti. The station will air the East Coast-based program on a delay from 5-9am (PT). Travis Rodgers will serve as local morning host at KSPN. He was previously a third of the local “Keyshawn, LZ and Travis” morning show.
“Greeny,” hosted by Mike Greenberg, will follow, airing live from 9-11am local time, with Max Kellerman scheduled for 11am-1pm.
Local programming follows Kellerman as Steve Mason and John Ireland move from 3-6:30pm to 1-3pm, followed by former morning show co-host LZ Granderson and Jorge Sedano from 3-7. Scott Kaplan will host 7-10pm on “710 ESPN,” outside of any live game broadcasts. Kaplan is still slotted to anchor afternoons at the soon-to-be relaunched “The Mightier 1090” XEPRS San Diego.
“Get Ready for a new lineup at 710 ESPN,” a post to Twitter read. “We’re stepping up our game with the best talk in LA starting August 17.”
