Liberal talker Chris Hahn, heard since 2010 on JVC Broadcasting news/talk WRCN-FM Long Island, NY (103.9), is entering syndication Thursday Dec. 5, via Krantz Media Group Networks. To jump start "The Chris Hahn Radio Show,” JVC has cleared the weekly program on “Florida Man Radio” stations WDYZ Orlando (660) and WYGC Gainesville (104.9). Initial clearances also include iHeartMedia “Real Talk 910” KKSF San Francisco.
The show airs Thursdays, 7-10pm Eastern.
“America will be making truly consequential choices in 2020 and I look forward to engaging in a national conversation with my listeners," Hahn said in a press release.
Known as “conservative America’s liberal cousin,” Hahn has appeared on Fox News Channel since 2010, and has been cited as “the most visible and recognized liberal voice on the network” by the Washington Examiner. He is a former aid to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.
“Chris Hahn is a fantastic radio talent that dives in to the issues and is not afraid to make a statement or confront an issue,” JVC President and CEO John Caracciolo said. “He is what radio needs, his show is loud, fun and entertaining and we do well with it on all of our stations.”
Hahn recently launched “The Aggressive Progressive,” a weekly podcast that has received 10,000 downloads to date. “Chris is intelligent, entertaining, and one of the highest profile commentators in the political media space,” said Gary Krantz, CEO of KMG Networks.
