Expanding beyond digital and into broadcast radio, digital network Liftable has purchased syndicator USA Radio Networks from Cross Platform Media. USA Radio Networks provides Christian and conservative news/talk programming, including Iowa radio host Steve Deace, whose show is carried on 56 stations around the country.
Citing Quantcast.com data, Liftable says it reaches around 40 million unique visitors a month. The company has grown its reach through acquisitions. In 2014 it purchased Thoughtfulwomen.org and WesternJournalism.com, followed by ConservativeTribune.com and TPNN.com in 2015.
In addition to expanding its reach, Liftable CEO Patrick Brown says the acquisition provides cross-promotion opportunities and will “jumpstart our digital sales team with the integration of USA Radio Network’s stellar team.” The combination of both companies assets will increase Liftable’s reach to over 50 million Americans with over 200 million monthly impressions, Brown said. USA Radio Networks was purchased by Sam Hassell’s Cross Platform Media in 2014.
