Two stations claim No. 1 rankings in market number one in the May 2019 PPMs as Emmis urban AC WBLS (6.9-6.5-6.8) ties iHeartMedia AC WLTW (7.7-7.0-6.8). The remaining three stations remain in place with Entercom classic hits WCBS-FM down a hair, 5.9-5.6-5.4 (6+), followed by Spanish Broadcasting System tropical WSKQ (5.0-5.0-5.3) and iHeartMedia CHR WHTZ (4.7-4.7-4.9.

Across the country in Los Angeles, the top three stations remain in place with iHeartMedia AC KOST trending up, 6.5-6.3-6.8, followed by Entercom classic hits KRTH (5.5-5.5-5.8) and smooth AC sister KTWV (4.7-5.0-5.2). iHeartMedia hot AC KBIG (4.2-4.1-4.5) trades places with Entercom adult hits KCBS-FM, which is down slightly, 4.1-4.2-4.0.

Even with a slight drop, Hubbard hot AC WTMX Chicago remains entrenched in first, moving 5.4-5.9-5.6. Entercom news WBBM moves from fourth to second (5.8-5.3-5.3), followed by last month’s No. 2, iHeartMedia urban AC WVAZ (5.3-5.4-4.7). Hubbard classic rock WDRV moves from third to fourth (5.3-5.4-4.7) and Cumulus Media classic hits WLS-FM remains in fifth, moving 4.5-3.9-4.5.

There’s a flip-flopping at the top of the rankings in San Francisco as Entercom news KCBS (6.4-6.3-6.6) overtakes news/talk KQED (7.3-6.8-6.3) for first place. Entercom hot AC KLLC moves from seventh to third, climbing 3.7-3.6-4.2 as iHeartMedia soft AC KISQ remains in fourth (5.0-4.4-4.0, followed by Bonneville AC KOIT (4.8-4.6-4.0), which slides from third to fifth.

In Dallas, iHeartMedia CHR KHKS stays on top (6.3-6.7-6.3), followed by classic rock sister KZPS (5.1-4.4-4.7), which moves from third to second and trades places with Entercom classic hits KLUV, which drops slightly (4.6-4.7-4.4). Cumulus Media country KPLX (4.4-4.2-4.3) moves up a spot to fourth and Salem Media contemporary Christian enters the Top 5, although flat month-to-month (3.5-4.2-4.2).

Down in Houston, the usual suspects can be found on top of the ratings as iHeartMedia soft AC KODA (8.2-7.5-7.3) stays put at number one, while Cox Media Group classic rock KGLK moves from fifth to second (5.0-5.2-5.9). Radio One urban AC KMJQ (5.8-5.6-5.7) holds steady in third, followed by Univision regional Mexican KLTN (6.7-6.1-5.5), which was second last month, and Entercom country KILT up a spot to fifth, moving 5.6-5.8-5.9.

Salem Media contemporary Christian WFSH Atlanta continues its upward surge (5.7-7.0-7.9) and market dominance. Entercom urban contemporary WVEE (6.1-6.3-6.5) moves from third to second, followed by Radio One urban AC WAMJ (6.9-6.1-6.3) up a rank to third. Cox Media Group news/talk WSB drops from second to fourth, sliding 7.1-6.6-6.3 and classic hits sister WSRV (5.6-5.8-5.9) remains in fifth.

In Philadelphia a familiar set of call letters heads back to the top of the ratings as Entercom AC WBEB, while flat month-to-month (7.0-6.7-6.7), sits atop the market. WBEB traded spots with Beasley Media Group classic rock WMGK, which slips 5.8-6.8-6.6 and takes second in the May PPMs. Rock sister WMMR rises 6.6-5.9-6.4 and moves from sixth to third, followed by Entercom classic hits WOGL (6.8-6.0-6.0), shifting from fifth to fourth, trading positions with iHeartMedia urban AC WDAS-FM (6.1-6.1-5.9).
