The National Radio Talent System has recruited Alexus Parker to be its Institutes Director. In the new position, Parker will work directly with broadcasters, universities and students of the Radio Talent Institutes and manage the organization’s social media efforts.
Parker most recently was Marketing Director of the iHeartMedia cluster in Raleigh, NC. She began her career with iHeart in Roanoke, VA as Promotions and Digital Content Director.
“We talked to quite a few people about the position, but Alexus came highly recommended and is very impressive,” NRTS President Dan Vallie said. “She is a great fit for our team as we continue to grow the National Radio Talent System and the Radio Talent Institutes across the country.”
The National Radio Talent System is a program of eight Radio Talent Institutes on college campuses across America. It is the first and only program of its kind in the world, discovering and preparing the next generation of broadcasters.
