Jubal Show

Nearly four months after debuting on iHeartMedia CHR “Hits 106.1” KBKS-FM Seattle, “The Jubal Show” has formed Team Jubal Productions to officially launch the program into syndication. The morning show debuts today (Nov. 12) on three iHeart stations: classic hip-hop “Jam’n 107.5” KXJM-FM Portland, OR; CHR “Z107.7” KSLZ St. Louis; and CHR “Hits 100.3” WMKS Greensboro, NC.

They join Cumulus Media CHR “98.9 Magic FM” KKMG Colorado Springs; Townsquare Media hip-hop/R&B “Power 105” KFXD/K288HG (630/105.5) Boise; iHeartMedia CHR “96.1 Now” KXXM San Antonio and stations in Spokane, Lansing and Lubbock that have recently picked up the show.

It’s hosted by Jubal Fresh, who exited the Premiere Networks-syndicated “Brooke & Jubal” show in April, his wife (and radio newbie) Alex Fresh and “English Evan” Omelia, who was with the previous KBKS-FM morning show. Jubal co-hosted “Brooke & Jubal,” which won Large Market Personalities of the Year at the 2016 National Association of Broadcasters' Marconi Radio Awards and the first-ever National Radio Hall of Fame “One To Watch” award in 2019.

Team Jubal Productions is led by the husband and wife personality team, along with talent agent Eric Weiss. Veteran affiliate relations exec Craig Whetstine is handling affiliate sales. Both Weiss and Whetstine work at The Weis Agency.

The program is formatted to allow a station to integrate its music into a four-hour customizable show, delivered by FTP and available on a cash and barter basis.

“I’m thrilled for us to be able to launch this syndication company and to have so much support from independently owned stations right from the start. I’d also like to thank everyone at iHeartMedia for their support of the program,” Jubal said in the announcement. “The success we’ve had in our first 2 months in Seattle has been phenomenal. I’m beyond honored at the faith that iHeartMedia has in us to add the show in these three new major markets along with Seattle and San Antonio.”
