...Bo Snerdley (James Golden), the longtime producer and call screener for the Premiere Networks-syndicated “Rush Limbaugh Show,” is hosting a weekend program on Red Apple Media talk WABC New York (770). Snerdley has been hosting 8-10am Saturdays since March 27.

...For Memorial Day weekend, Fox News Radio presents two, hour-long specials for its affiliate network, including “Proud American Special” with Fox Nation host Johnny Joey Jones and a special edition of “Jason in the House” with FNC contributor and former Utah Congressman Jason Chaffetz. Additionally, the network will present The Proud American Podcast Series with all new episodes leading up to Memorial Day.

...Jam Media Solutions’ WZPR Nags Head, NC (92.3) is stunting ahead of a format change on Friday, May 28. WZPR flipped from classic rock to news/talk in July 2020. On Monday the station played Elvis Presley all day, followed by a day of Frank Sinatra on Tuesday and The Beatles Wednesday. “Stay tuned... something big is coming Friday at noon,” a Facebook post read.

...Saga Communications rock WKLH Milwaukee (96.5) raised more than $820,000 for Children’s Hospital Wisconsin during its 36-hour Miracle Marathon from May 20-21. The radiothon is one of the hospital’s highest-grossing fundraisers and it has raised more than $27 million since its inception in 1998, WMTV-TV reports. “Through the generosity of 96.5 WKLH, the sponsors, its listeners and the community, we have been able to directly impact the comprehensive care Children’s Wisconsin provides to the families across the state and beyond,” foundation president Meg Brzyski Nelson told the TV outlet.

...Dane Neal, host and contributor on Nexstar Media talk WGN Chicago (720), will broadcast live from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 30 from 6:30-10am. Following Neal’s show, WGN Radio will air the 105th Indianapolis 500, including extended pre-race coverage. The show will feature interviews with legends Mario Andretti and Bobby Rahal. Drivers in this year’s race are also scheduled to join, including defending 500 winner Takuma Sato, IndyCar Series Champion and pole sitter Scott Dixon and three-time winner Helio Castroneves going for history and his fourth 500. “WGN Radio made history being the first radio station of note to broadcast the Indy 500, and we are excited to bring the magic and magnitude that is the Indianapolis 500, the greatest spectacle in sports, back to WGN Radio,” Neal said in a release.

...The all-new two-hour weekly “The History of Rock ‘N Roll” radio series hosted by Wink Martindale will debut the weekend of June 5. Each episode is built round a theme spotlighting a different aspect of rock and pop history. The original “The History of Rock & Roll” was a 48-hour production produced by KHJ Los Angeles. Among the affiliates on board for the debut of “The History of Rock ‘N ’Roll” is WMPS Memphis, where Martindale got his start in radio.
