...Estrella Media, the Spanish language media company that owns radio and TV properties, presents two spring sales presentations in May – the Estrella Media IAB NewFronts and the Estrella Media Upfront experience. This year’s theme is “Experience Estrella. Everywhere.” The presentations will be hosted by EstrellaTV star Omar Chaparro. The Estrella Media IAB NewFront virtual presentation will take place on Wednesday, May 5 at 2:20pm (ET), followed by the Estrella Media UpFront virtual experience on Thursday, May 6 at 2:00pm. “At Estrella Media, we create unique, unscripted Spanish-language programming that invites our audiences to be fans and a part of the experience,” Executive Vice President of Sales Jason Hall said in a release. “The result is viewers and listeners engaging with EstrellaTV, radio, and the Don Cheto Radio Network every month.”
...The Suite Radio-syndicated “Bud and Broadway Morning Show” is added to First Media Services country WKAK Albany, GA (104.5), effective April 8. “I was familiar with The Bud and Broadway Show from their huge success in St. Louis. During the planning phase of putting together The All-New Georgia 104.5, we knew that we needed a great morning show and one that’s funny,” First Media Services President Rick Lambert said in a release. “Bud and Broadway certainly check those boxes and we look forward to a great partnership as we launch The All-New Georgia 104.5 today.”
...In a product notification to clients, Nielsen Audio says audience estimates for Cumulus Media AC WLEV-HD2 were inadvertently omitted from the February 2021 (December/January/February) Allentown-Bethlehem Radio Market Report. A revised February market report will was released Wednesday, April 7 at 12pm. Audience estimates for other stations will not be affected.
...SOURCE Nashville, the longest-running organization for women in the Nashville music industry, will hold its 18th Annual SOURCE Hall of Fame Awards virtually this year. The SOURCE HoF Awards will posthumously induct 20 female trailblazers, including WSM-AM’s Dorothy Wright and the Country Music Association’s Bobette Dudley, who have paved the way for others in the country music industry.
...NRG Media launches dance “NRG 93.7” on Spottswood Partners WKEY-FM Key West. “All the music you know and love. From Gloria Gaynor to Dua Lipa and so much more. NRG is where you need to be,” a website post read. The station says the NRG Dance Radio brand’s “highly-focused dance and disco genres are for everyone in The Keys who wants to take the dance club with them wherever they go.” Spottswood Partners closed on its $15,000 purchase of the station in November 2020.
