...President Donald Trump has appointed conservative talk show host Michael Savage (real name Michael A. Weiner) to be a Member of the Board of Directors of the Presidio Trust for a term expiring May 4, 2023. The Westwood One-syndicated host was one of the earliest supporters of Trump’s presidential bid, with Trump once saying, “I wouldn’t be president without this man.”
...Nielsen Audio will release a revised February 2020 Washington Radio Market Report on Friday, March 27 at 12pm. Nielsen says audience estimates for Educational Media Foundation contemporary Christian “K-Love” WLVW (107.3) were inadvertently omitted from the February PPMs. Audience estimates for other stations will not be affected. WLVW resides on the frequency of former hot AC “Mix 107.3” WRQX, which Cumulus Media sold to EMF in June 2019.
...Focus 360 enters into a partnership with GroundSwell Group to align brands with non-profit organizations, many of which are at the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic in America. The partnership, “Mutual Benefit Impact Marketing Initiative,” targets a brand’s audience and can be hyper-local or national. The brand’s cause marketing message is delivered through non-profit social media feeds, paid social, influencers and amplified with Focus 360’s Jelli Plus radio network and “Lipstick” and “Vinyl” podcasts. “We built a platform [The Karma Index] that directs funds to support those in need,” Noel Wax, Chief Executive Officer and Partner of the Groundswell Group said in a release. “What we didn’t realize, is that this technology is ideal for helping Americans at a time like this.
