Salem Radio Network says in a news release that it’s planning extensive coverage of President Trump’s impeachment trial beginning Tuesday, Jan. 21.
House Democrats are planning a vote for Wednesday (Jan. 15) on transmitting impeachment articles to the Senate. Once it has started, the trial, which will be overseen by Chief Justice John Roberts, will be the Senate’s only business until it has concluded. It will be conducted every day including Saturdays, with Sunday the only day off.
Salem, a Christian-focused broadcaster, says its “unprecedented, comprehensive coverage” of the trial will include a live long-form broadcast of the Senate proceedings via SRN News and Townhall News; updates and analysis from nationally syndicated SRN talk hosts Hugh Hewitt, Mike Gallagher, Dennis Prager, Dr. Sebastian Gorka, Larry Elder and Dan Proft; and around-the-clock reports from SRN/Townhall correspondents, including Greg Clugston at the White House, Bob Agnew in the Senate and Bernie Bennett at the House.
The release says SRN will provide a daily “wrap” of trial highlights, featuring insight from SRN correspondents and expert analysis.
