Hubbard Radio elevates Steve Goldstein to Senior VP Digital Sales Strategy, General Manager 2060 Digital. Goldstein was most recently Senior Director, Digital Sales Strategy, splitting duties between Hubbard Radio Washington and a corporate role developing digital sales strategies in all of the Hubbard Radio markets. Goldstein will now focus exclusively on the corporate role.
In the post, Goldstein will work closely with Executive VP/Chief Financial Officer Dave Bestler to focus on Hubbard Radio market growth in O&O digital sales and 2060 Digital sales and operations. 2060 Digital President James Bryant will focus on growing 2060 Digital’s Shift initiative in expanding markets.
“These are important strategic moves for our 2060 Digital business,” Bestler said in a release. “Jim Bryant’s entrepreneurial spirit in starting the 2060 business in 2015 is a perfect fit as he focuses all his energy on our ongoing expansion beyond the Hubbard Radio markets. For Steve Goldstein, this is a perfect evolution as he has been doing great work directly with our radio markets for the past two years in his current role as Director of Digital Sales Strategy for Hubbard Radio.”
2060 Digital has become an important revenue growth strategy for the company, both in Hubbard radio markets, and recently in non-radio markets with the introduction of 2060 Digital’s Shift division in Columbus, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Detroit, Nashville and Birmingham.
“I am honored and excited to take the helm of a business that I am so passionate about,” Goldstein added. “Hubbard’s overall digital platforms and 2060 Digital have already seen tremendous success. To lead and grow a team that has provided proven results for our clients and our company is thrilling and humbling.”
Bryant added, “I'm excited Hubbard Radio believes strongly in the Shift digital initiative and is allowing me to focus more attention to this amazing operation. This unique unit currently operates in six markets independent of and outside of Hubbard Radio’s footprint. Shift shows promising potential in our goal to become a meaningful contributor to the overall digital success.”
