Temple University has signed extension agreements with Philadelphia radio outlets Beasley Media Group sports “97.5 The Fanatic” WPEN and Entercom talk WPHT (1210).

The separate four-year agreements keep Temple football on “97.5 The Fanatic,” with the 2020 collegiate season marking the seventh consecutive season games have been heard on the signal.

In addition to the games, “The Fanatic” will air a weekly show with Temple head coach Rod Carey.

The 2020-2021 men’s basketball season will be the 20th consecutive year the Owls have been carried by WPHT.

“We're excited to continue our relationship with these two broadcast industry leaders,” Temple University Director of Athletics Dr. Patrick Kraft said in a release. “We have had a great relationship with each station and both have a broad reach that allow fans throughout the Delaware Valley to follow Temple Athletics.”

Veteran Philadelphia broadcaster Harry Donahue returns for his 19th season calling play-by-play for both Temple football and men’s basketball. Temple Hall of Famers Paul Palmer (8th season) and John Baum (23rd season) will serve as analysts for the football and basketball broadcasts, respectively.
