Marion, OH radio veteran Charlie Evers has died at the age of 85. Evers radio career began in 1949 at WMRN, “watching the station’s tent at the Crawford County Fair,” the Marion Star reports. He then became the station engineer and then hosted the morning show, beginning in 1968. Evers also worked for WDIF and most recently had been with WWGH. Read more

Cincinnati radio veteran Jim Fox (Allen Duane Pruett) has passed away due to pancreatic cancer. Fox hosted the “Q102 Morning Zoo” at WKRQ and programmed the station for many years, succeeding Randy Michaels in 1975. Fox later hosted morning at WUBE from 1992-2000. Read more

Charlie Brown, longtime Seattle morning man, has passed away at the age 74 on May 11 from complications related to Parkinson’s disease.
