T.K. O’Grady, longtime host at Rubber City Radio rock WONE-FM Akron (97.1), has passed away at the age of 66. O’Grady joined the station in 1998 and for most of his time at the station was heard in afternoons while serving as APD. Most recently he was serving as a weekend host at the station.  Read more

The duo, Tige Rodgers and Daniel Baker, will make their debut on the station in December, joining current host Amber Glaze. They most recently hosted afternoons at iHeartMedia country “The Big 98” WSIX Nashville, while also tracking afternoons and nights for a number of company country-formatted stations. Bob Oakes, longtime host of “Morning Edition” on Boston University news/talk WBUR-FM Boston, is retiring from the role and will take on the title of Senior Correspondent with the influential public broadcaster. Read more

Roxanne Marati is elevated to Senior VP/Market Manager of Entercom Kansas City, effective Dec. 1. Marati previously served as Vice President of Sales for the company’s Denver cluster since 2013. Read more

Billy Kidd (William Winningham), longtime veteran of Midwest Communications classic rock WIMX-FM Knoxville (103.5), passed away Tuesday (Nov. 10) at his home. He was 61. Winningham joined the station in 1990 and was heard in evenings prior to joining Phil Williams in mornings for the “Phil & Billy Show.” He has been in afternoons at WIMZ since 2001.  Read more
