Waterloo Media rock KLBJ-FM Austin (93.7) morning men, “Dudley and Bob + Matt,” posted that they are moving to afternoons, after waking up the city for 33 years.
“Turn on and face the strange. Changes are coming and we will need you #Warriors all more than ever,” a post on the show’s Twitter account reads. “Details coming soon.”
Program Director LA Lloyd moves from afternoons to mornings, with B-Doe remaining in middays and Sierra in evenings. The drive time changes will take place in February.
“KLBJ-FM team sees an opportunity to fill a void for personality/talk radio in afternoons – and Austin traffic (and Nielsen cume numbers) show that the audience is already there,” SVP/Market Manager Scott Gillmore told Inside Radio. “The station remains fully-staffed, live and local under Waterloo Media ownership.”
