Jason Anderson is named midday host at Union Broadcasting “SportsRadio 810” WHB St. Louis, effective July 29. Anderson, a St. Louis area native, was most recently PD/afternoon host at co-owned “ESPN Radio 680” WHBE-AM/FM Louisville. He will be joined regularly on “The Zone” midday program by “41 Action News” Sports Director Mick Shaffer and “SportsRadio 810” VP/Sports Director Todd Leabo.
“Jason has done a terrific job for Union Broadcasting over the past 19 years,” president Chad Boeger said in a release. “He is extremely talented and has a wealth of knowledge. We are very excited for his return to Kansas City. He will be surrounded by an all-star cast of co-hosts/contributors including Mick and Todd.”
Anderson succeeds Soren Petro who moves to afternoons in the wake of Kevin Kietzman’s departure after his controversial comments regarding Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid.
