Jesse Kage says he is retiring from radio. The 20-plus year radio veteran hosted afternoon drive at iHeartMedia “98 Rock” WXTB Tampa and Cumulus Media “Rock 100.5” WNNX Atlanta. His “Kage Kult Show” has been off the air since last July, when WNNX revamped its lineup.

“It is with much excitement, nervousness and optimism that I am leaving the only career that I’ve known since I was in high school,” Kage wrote on Facebook, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. “I loved radio and was honored and humbled to be a part of so many people’s lives for so long.”

Cage, who recently launched the “First Match” podcast, posted that he has joined a real estate group in the Tampa area.
