Max Kachinske, who served as Assistant to Midwest Communications VP/Programming Jeff McCarthy, exits the company due to cuts brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. Kachinske, the son of veteran programmer Mary Ellen Kachinske, joined the company in 2018.
“Due to COVID-19, we regretfully announce that Max Kachinske was permanently furloughed from the position of Assistant to the VP of Programming,” a staff memo read. “That position has been eliminated. Max left on very good terms and we appreciate his contributions over the past two years.”
