“The Morning Hustle” is added to the lineup at the Radio One operated urban contemporary “Hot 107.5” WGPR Detroit, effective July 15. The program, which is based at the company’s urban contemporary “93.9 Kiss FM” WKYS Washington, is comprised of Angie Ange, “On Air” Jordan and Lore’l.
Jordan is known in the market as Shorty da Prince from his stint in nights on “Hot 107.5.”
“We think the vibe of this new show will really resonate with Detroiter’s,” VP/GM Kathy Stinehour said in a release. “The chemistry between Angie, Lore’l and Jordan is electric and unfiltered. Detroiter’s will remember Jordan from his time as Shorty da Prince doing nights on Hot some years back. He was number one at night and we are delighted he is coming back to the D.”
The incoming program replaces “The Morning Heat with Big Greg & Afrika.”
