Pittsburgh jazz radio icon Tony Mowod passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 6 at the age of 85. Mowod’s long career began in the 1950s at WDUQ. Most recently, Mowod was an announcer on Pittsburgh Public Media jazz WZUM (88.1).
