All Things Comedy, the network of more than 40 comedy-focused podcasts, is teaming up with Wondery for some of the more serious aspects of podcasting. That includes monetization, marketing and show distribution.

“When we conceived of ATC our goal was simple. We wanted to protect our fellow comedians from losing control of their IP and band together to promote one another,” said Al Madrigal, co-founder of All Things Comedy. “This partnership with Wondery takes that vision to a supercharged level. ATC comedians are now fully equipped and ready to take control of their own business.”

Among the shows that All Things Comedy brings into Wondery is co-founder Bill Burr’s Monday Morning Podcast, as well as shows like The Dollop and Tiger Belly. Mike Bertolina, CEO of All Things Comedy, said the alliance will help expose those comedic voices to more listeners, calling Wondery “the best in the business” at developing audiences. The Move will put All Things Comedy’s shows alongside Wondery’s comedy lineup that includes original shows such as Life is Short with Justin Long and Ask Iliza Anything.

“Podcasting started with comedy, and it started with Bill Burr,” said Wondery CEO Hernan Lopez in a statement. “We’re beyond excited to bring All Things Comedy’s current and future shows to new advertisers and listeners around the world.”
