Targetspot, the digital audio advertising platform that launched a podcast ad marketplace last December, has promoted Dominick Milano to Senior Vice President of Sales & Business Development in North America. He’ll now also be responsible for managing Targetspot’s sales teams and activities in the U.S. and in Canada. The move follows Laurane Delcroix’s departure to become Targetspot’s new country manager for Spain and Portugal.
“We are confident that Dominick will now help take us to the next level,” says Erik Portier, Chief Revenue Officer at Targetspot. “His strong background within the audio sector makes him the ideal person to drive such a market.”
Milano joined Targetspot in May. He previously spent a decade at Triton Digital, and served as part of the company’s leadership team when it launched in 2006. He earlier worked at the national rep firms Interep and Katz Media Group.
“I was thrilled to join Targetspot a few months ago and I am even more thrilled to lead the sales effort in addition to business development in North America,” Milano said in the announcement. “Targetspot’s commitment to driving further growth in digital audio fits perfectly with my existing passion for this industry. We have a terrific sales team that I am looking forward to working closely with to increase the value Targetspot brings to agencies, advertisers and our publishers.”
Targetspot’s programmatic digital audio platform works with digital audio players including Radionomy and Shoutcast as well as traditional radio groups including Entercom, Univision, and Entravision.
