The Fangirl Sports Network, the first-ever female-focused sports content company, is making the leap into podcasting. It has partnered with Benztown + McVay Media Podcast Networks to produce a pair of shows that are geared toward not only entertainment sports fans but also empowering women. “I look forward to a successful partnership, working together to produce inspiring, entertaining and informative podcasts,” CEO Tracy Sandler said in the announcement.

The flagship Fangirl Playbook will be hosted by network founder and CEO Tracy Sandler and sports journalist Stephanie McCarroll. The show will offer a weekly roundup of the sports world with new episodes released each Tuesday.

The second podcast is called Get My Job. Hosted by Tracy Sandler, the weekly podcast highlights women who have made a significant impact in the sports industry. Sandler interviews the women about their professional journey and advice they have for young women who aspire to follow in their footsteps. Recent guests have included NFL Network Digital Content Editor Lakisha Wesseling, ESPN Audio Senior Director of Marketing and Events Megan Judge, and BG Sports Enterprises CEO and sports agent Brittany Gilman.

Sandler launched the Fangirl Sports Network in 2015 and has grown the company to include fangirl representation for all 32 NFL and 30 NBA teams. “A lifelong sports fan, I wanted to create a community of female fans with content that speaks to us,” she said recently. “A Fangirl inspires, informs and makes you laugh.”

Dave “Chachi” Denes, President of Benztown, credited Sander with building a platform of “highly professional quality content.” And Mike McVay, President of McVay Media, added, “Tracy Sandler shines a spotlight on women who refuse to stand in the shadow of a world dominated by men and provides encouragement to women of all ages to follow their dreams.”
