Green Roll Media 220

Sports betting remains one of the hottest media segments and that continues to lead to alliances between odds-makers and media outlets.  The latest is an alliance between the new sports betting podcast network Green Roll Media and the sportsbook company SuperBook Sports. Their new partnership  will bring the creation of several new podcasts.

Green Roll Media, which launched this summer by veteran sports radio executive Jeremiah Crowe, will produce two shows during the football season to start for SuperBook.  The first is the SuperBook Sports Podcast, hosted by SuperBook oddsmakers Jay Kornegay and John Murray. It will also feature stand-up comedian and veteran podcast host Brandt Tobler.  The other new podcast is Betting with The Barbers hosted by former NFL players  Tiki Barber and Rondé Barber.  Both shows will focus on the NFL and college football seasons with a special emphasis on betting strategies.

“We’re looking forward to allowing listeners to get a sneak peak of what’s happening behind the counter here at the SuperBook every week. If you’re interested in sports betting from the sportsbook’s perspective, you’ll certainly enjoy the podcast,” said SuperBook Executive VP Jay Kornegay.

Green Roll Media is also leaning into its radio past – Crowe previously spent more than 20 years in sports radio at ESPN Radio Network, CBS/Audacy and Cumulus Media before launching his own podcast company. It plans to syndicate the two podcasts to sports radio stations for weekend schedules.

“It’s an honor to launch Green Roll Media’s podcast portfolio with such a powerful and well-respected brand as SuperBook Sports,” said Crowe in the announcement. “We look forward to providing underserved sports betting enthusiasts with a singular destination for can’t-miss content, while also making select PPM-friendly podcasts available for radio groups to air during their weekend programming lineups.”

Green Roll Media’s other podcasts include ‘Bout Business, which is hosted by MMA analyst Lou “GambLou” Finocchiaro.
