Gretchen Rubin, the author of self-help books who has created the successful Happier podcast, is now getting a weekly network television morning show appearance to help promote her podcast and her brand. Rubin will appear each Monday on “CBS This Morning” to offer ideas on how to live a happier, healthier and more productive life.

"Sometimes you may be resisting the to-do list," Rubin said during an appearance Monday announcing the partnership. "The ta-da list is — especially if you're working on a big project and you feel like, 'I've been working and working, I'm not making any progress' — write down everything you've done. Ta-da! It's encouraging, it's energizing." She said that something like a “could do” list may also help. “Some people don't like to be bossed around, even by themselves on their own to-do lists," Rubin said. "So instead of a to-do list, you do a could-do list. You could do it if you feel like it or not, it's up to you."

Happier is currently the No. 4 podcast among Health & Fitness podcasts on Apple Podcasts and ranked No. 78 among all podcasts in the U.S., according to Chartable.
