Fifth generation mobile wireless technology, most often referred to 5G, gets talked about a lot. But what is it and how will it change connectivity? And what might tomorrow look like? Those are questions that T-Mobile hopes to publicly answer. And as part of its strategy, the wireless carrier has teamed up with iHeartRadio to launch a branded podcast called This Time Tomorrow.
The show is hosted by Oz Woloshyn, an Emmy- and Peabody-award winning host and producer whose work has been broadcast on Vice, PBS and Bloomberg, and Karah Preiss, a veteran tech reporter and co-founder of Belletrist, a social media-first community for book lovers.
“Maybe it seems obvious, but business is changing and much of that change, from digital transformation to workplace innovation, is driven by critical advancements in ability. Thanks to support from T-Mobile for Business, we’re here to explore how 5G will enable innovations that will advance our future,” said Woloshyn in the show’s opener. “Now we stand on a new generation of internet, 5G, so the question is: what might tomorrow look like?”
The series will explore how the 5G revolution has the potential to change everything from Hollywood entertainment to disaster relief, and what the next generation of wireless really means for the average American.
