…Subaru’s year-end charity event Share The Love is now in its 12th year, led by its advertising campaign that this year will bring to life stories of those organizations the automaker has helped through the years, including the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA®), Make-A-Wish, Meals on Wheels America and National Park Foundation. The 2019 effort will include podcasting. Throughout the campaign, Subaru will participate in a series of episodes on Gimlet Media’s Science Vs podcast. It will feature local Subaru retailers discussing the significance of the Subaru Share the Love Event and how the event has helped them make meaningful impacts on their hometown charities. Subaru says its Share the Love Events have raised $145 million during the past 11 years.
…Triton Digital continues to secure more podcast measurement deals around the globe. The latest is in Malaysia where it says broadcaster BFM has signed with Triton to host, monetize and measure its streaming audio and podcast content. The broadcaster will also have access to theTriton-owned Omny Studio podcast management platform to capture, edit, and distribute its podcast content. BFM is focused on business news and current affairs.
…The mobile banking company Varo Money has announced it has inked a “multimillion dollar marketing partnership” with iHeartMedia. Under the agreement, Varo will launch an extensive three-year campaign across iHeart’s properties, including its podcast platform. The banker says it will kick off with a seven-week campaign that spans the largest metros, leveraging radio talent out of Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Miami, San Francisco, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and New York.
