Anyone can make a big deal about a milestone like 50 episodes, right? A Pennsylvania radio cluster saved its big fete for episode No. 51. The iHeartMedia Pennsylvania region — a group of 37 stations in the Keystone State — is behind the show Pop Culture Weekly with Kyle McMahon. It is promising an “episode extravaganza” with its latest release, saying the celebratory show will include a compilation of fan-favorite segments like “Hot Clips” and “What We Consumed” and highlight the greatest moments from the show’s first 50 episodes. The “Feature Presentation” segment will also include clips from some of the show’s most memorable celebrity interviews and a few surprises.

For radio stations on the fence about whether their shows can attract an audience, iHeart says Pop Culture Weekly has logged more than 1.5 million listens, video views, website hits and social media impressions since it launched.

“Kyle has an incredibly unique blend of charm and wit that puts even the biggest pop culture stars at ease,” said Brit Goldstein, President of iHeartMedia Pennsylvania. “We are proud of Kyle’s work and can’t wait to celebrate episode 51 and beyond!”

The best-of episode will include interviews with singers Martina McBride, Michael Bolton, Lee Brice and Otis Williams, plus actors Cynthia Erivo, Rupert Grint and Christopher Jackson, and author Deepak Chopra.

The 51st episode of Pop Culture Weekly is being released today (July 14) and new episodes of the podcast post on Friday afternoons.
