Jenna Owens, who stepped down from her full-time role with the Yea Networks-syndicated “Kidd Kraddick Show” last month to focus on her three-year old Fitish brand, has good reason to feel good about her decision. It looks like a lot of her listeners came with her as she launched her new podcast Fitish, which she hosts with Kraddick Show co-host J-Si Chavez. The podcast has come out of the gate with a strong debut and is among the most listened-to Health & Fitness podcasts.

“I’m thrilled to be able to talk more openly about things I haven’t been able to discuss on the morning show and do it all with my favorite radio partner and occasionally our real-life partners as well,” said Owens. She’s a single woman and Chavez is a father of two married to his college sweetheart. On the podcast, the pair dives into their life issues and their personal life that they have not been able to share on broadcast radio.

“I’m really happy that I get to keep chatting with Jenna on the mic and I cannot wait to see where this podcast takes us,” Chavez added.

Owens spent 12 years on the Kraddick show, and despite stepping away from her regular hosting duties she will continue her Friday segment “That’s What I Like” and will represent the program on press junkets and at large-scale events, such as (the now-cancelled) South by Southwest and (still on) Coachella.

New episodes of Fitish roll out every Wednesday at 10 am.
