Revolt, the hip-hop lifestyle television network owned by Sean "Diddy" Combs, has tapped an Atlanta-based podcast team to adapt their series into a weekly TV program. Big Bank, DJ Scream, and Baby Jade take their Big Facts podcast to Revolt this week with new episodes airing each Wednesday night at 10pm ET.
"We can't wait to be a part of the Revolt family. This opportunity will give us more exposure to millions of viewers who want to listen to myself, Big Bank, and Baby Jade discuss some of the most hard-hitting topics right now," said DJ Scream in a statement. Being on camera is not new for the Big Facts crew. They have already been producing a YouTube version of their podcast.
The Big Facts team says their show will keep its focus on Black culture and bring controversial topics to the forefront of conversations through the podcast's notorious roster of weekly guests. It is what appealed to Revolt.
"The unfiltered, raw opinions from some of the biggest names in the game on the podcast will appeal to both new and existing audiences within the hip-hop and Black communities,” said Detavio Samuels, Co-Head & COO of Revolt.
Since March, Revolt has adapted a significant part of its outward-facing content to focus on social justice amid the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. That has paid off. In June, the network saw the biggest increase in views across its social channels and online platform. “As a leading content platform that thrives on Black excellence and empowering the voices of millennials and Gen Z audiences, the addition of Big Facts streaming across our platforms will continue to signify Revolt as the authority in hip hop," said Samuels.
