Jillian Jalali’s three-year old Court Junkie podcast is making the leap to PodcastOne where it is joining forces with the Law & Crime Network. The moves have allowed the show to transition from a bi-weekly to weekly show. “With this new partnership, I'll have access to Law & Crime's extensive trial library and their legal experts, allowing me to publish even better Court Junkie content,” Jalali announced to fans on Facebook.
By exploring criminal trials and cases, the Court Junkie podcast has a mission of taking listeners beyond the courtroom to discover what really happens within our judicial system. Each week, Jalali does that by shedding a light on select cases by investigating court documents, attending trials, and interviewing those close to the cases.
“We’re delighted to welcome another established podcast to our lineup. Court Junkie brings not only another high-quality podcast to us, but a loyal listening audience that will only grow when we display our significant promotional assets,” said PodcastOne founder and chairman Norm Pattiz.
Like Crime Junkie, the digital-only Law & Crime Network has also teamed up with PodcastOne. It is building a portfolio of podcasts including The Dan Abrams Podcast which features Law & Crime founder Dan Abrams, who said at the time the alliance was announced in March that he saw podcasting as “another important medium” for the network.
